Position Overview
Section titled “Position Overview”We are looking for a Data Engineer to design and maintain data pipelines and platform components that power analytics and machine learning use cases. This role owns data quality, pipeline reliability, and efficient data access patterns for stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Section titled “Key Responsibilities”- Build and maintain batch and streaming data pipelines from multiple internal and external sources.
- Model and organize warehouse data for analytics, reporting, and self service use.
- Improve data reliability with monitoring, validation checks, and robust failure handling.
- Partner with analysts, data scientists, and product teams to deliver trusted datasets.
- Optimize query performance and data processing costs across the data stack.
- Document data models, lineage, and operational runbooks.
Qualifications
Section titled “Qualifications”- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years in data engineering with strong SQL and one programming language such as Python.
- Experience with modern data warehouses and orchestration tools.
- Familiarity with data modeling principles, ETL/ELT patterns, and data governance basics.
- Strong analytical thinking and communication skills.
